The equipment should be able to demonstrate the followings:

Proportional, Integral and Derivative control

Measuring instruments of level and flow rate

Determining dead time, response, and characteristics of the process

Tuning techniques of controllers

Specifications (or Equivalent)

The unit must be equipped with (or corresponding part):

Framework: Stainless steel or anodized aluminum with enough thickness to withstand the load of equipment and/or different components of equipment

Storage tank of stainless steel with capacity of 40 l

Constant-level tank of stainless steel with capacity of 20 l

Centrifugal pump (made up of material to withstand

corrosion and erosion associated problems)

Maximum flow rate = 2 m3 /h,

Maximum head = 10 m

Compressor (along with female valves of 1/4”) for the requirement of compressed air (1 Nm3 /h @ 6 bar)

Tap water valve with 1/2” hose connector

Glass column Height = 500 mm

Electronic differential-pressure flow transmitter with 4 to 20 mA output signal

Calibrated diaphragm

Electronic differential-pressure level transmitter with 4 to 20 mA output signal

Pneumatic valves of stainless steel

Electro-pneumatic converters, 4 to 20 mA / 0.2 to 1 bar

PID controller

Piping and valves

Safety control

Automated unit along with software for computerized control of the equipment

Computer

UPS with enough backup for shutting down the unit/equipment in case of power failure

List of spares (for 1 year)

The unit must be supplied with all mandatory accessories for smooth operation, gases along with cylinders, installation & after-sale maintenance services, calibration kits (if any) and practices manuals.
